The aim of the invention is to support the effective use of time slot types, e.g. the DECT-specific full or double slots, in wireless telecommunications systems. To this end, two stationary parts (FP11..FP22) are provided in each radio cell (PC1, PC2). The first stationary parts (FP11, FP21) respectively support two time slot types, however, signal that they support the second or the first and the second time slot type according to the utilisation of the second stationary parts (FP12, FP22) which only support one time slot part. The mobile parts (PP11) store the stationary parts (FP11..FP22) in separate lists after the support of the time slot types has been signalled.
