Drive mechanism connected to membrane for forming rotary tire has caps, hub and volume with air-inlet

The appliance for forming a rotary tire has a drive mechanism to which is connected a membrane rotarily mounted on a hub (11). The membrane has at least two caps (8,9) separated by an equator (10). The periphery of the surfaces intersecting the caps at right angles to the rotational axis increases from the hub to the equator, so that when the membrane rotates round the hub it envelopes a volume which has an opening (14) through which flows external air.
