SMART CARD AND CARD READER WITH FINGER PRINT IDENTIFIER

摘要

PURPOSE: A smart card and card reader with finger print identifier is provided to confirm one's identity without inputting the password simply by including a fingerprint identification function to the smart card and smart card reader. CONSTITUTION: A smart card and card reader with finger print identifier is composed of storage, conversion, comparison, and confirmation. A fingerprint information storage(12) stores card user's fingerprint which has been converted into data and memory(16) stores card user's data that is necessary to use the card. The fingerprint information storage and memory are controlled by a first controller(14) and it compares the card user's fingerprint data that has been inputted to the stored fingerprint data of fingerprint information storage. If the compared information are identical, the user is given permission to connect to memory's data main system(30).
