<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new handrail suppressing the clearance fluctuation generated by extension/contraction of a reinforced coping caused by the heat and humidity change, generating no clearance between handrail bodies, and being superior in the durability. SOLUTION: In a handrail having a nonmetallic handrail body 1 and a reinforcing coping and fixing the bottom of the handrail body 1 to the reinforcing coping 2 by fixing members 3, the reinforcing coping 2 abutting on the bottom part of the handrail body has a plurality fixing member insertion holes formed longitudinally, the hole in the central position is a round hole 51 having the same diameter as that of the fixing member 3, the other holes are long holes 5, and after a fixing member 3 is inserted and fixed in the round hole 51 in the central position, the fixing members 3 are inserted and fixed in the other long holes 5.</p> |
