PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide strength for a rocker arm body of a pressed product and capable of stably guiding a valve stem with a high freedom of design. SOLUTION: A top wall portion 13 and first and second side wall portions 11, 12 constitute a grooved portion 27 opened downward, thereby receiving the upper end of a valve stem 9. Inward flanges 22, 23 are bent inward from the lower ends of the first and second side walls 11, 12 by press forming. Lateral relative motion of the upper end 10 of the valve stem 9 is restricted between end surfaces 24, 25 opposite to each other in the inward flanges 22, 23. A distance (d) between the end surfaces 24, 25 corresponds to a width, by which the lateral relative motion of the valve stem 9 is restricted.
