PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely execute the stop and the restarting of an internal combustion engine by the simple operation. SOLUTION: A series circuit including a self-reset type stop switch 5 and a charging and discharging capacitor 7 is connected to both ends of a magneto coil 1, an anode and a cathode of a switching element 8 are connected to both ends of the magneto coil 1, and a gate of the switching element 8 is connected to a discharging circuit of the charging and discharging capacitor 7. Thus, the stop operation of an internal combustion engine can be surely executed by the simple operation of the stop switch, the misfire in the restarting after the stop of the internal combustion engine can be prevented, and high reliability in the starting and the stop of the operation of the internal combustion engine can be realized.
