PURPOSE: A deflection yoke for cathode ray tube provides an electromagnetic wave shielding unit for shielding an electromagnetic wave generated from the deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke(20) for cathode ray tube comprises a horizontal deflection coil(11) and a vertical deflection coil(12) which are disposed at an outer portion of a funnel(15) of the cathode ray tube to deflect electron beam, an electromagnetic wave shielding unit(27) which is disposed between the funnel and the horizontal deflection coil and formed of a funnel type multi layered film, and a grounding unit(28) which is connected with the shielding unit. The funnel type multi layered film has a first film layer formed of an insulating film and a second film layer formed of a conductive film. The grounding unit is extended from the insulating film to serve as a conductor.
