PURPOSE: A device for measuring inclination is provided to conveniently apply to the actual spot, to make the output of data and to reduce a producing cost. CONSTITUTION: A vertical sensing implement(42) includes a resistance(44) of excellent sliding performance, an iron core(46) extended downward from the central of the resistance and a weight(48) connected with the iron core. The iron core desires to maintain the vertical to the bottom face based on a principle. The zero point of the weight is determined to 90 angular degrees in an initial time of measurement. The resistance is determined to zero and a gradient measurement implement is moved on the surface of an object to be measured. The resistance by the movement of the weight is varied according to the vertical or the horizontal of the vehicle body. Herein, the strength corresponding to the strength and the direction of the current passing through the resistance is varied.
