PURPOSE: A method for recognizing an E-mail address is provided to use E-mail on a telephone by transmitting messages for the E-mail addresses through a voice recognition system, after making the E-mail addresses of receivers as texts. CONSTITUTION: A method for recognizing E-mail addresses through a voice recognition system comprises the steps of: making a user call a receiver; calling the receiver through a public network such as a general phone or a mobile phone; supplying E-mail or a voice service of the receiver through an automatic response system; converting a voice into a text through the voice recognition system; storing data of an E-mail address converted into the text to recognize the text; transmitting the E-mail and the voice service to an internet address; and transmitting a message through an internet network.
