PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sharp full-color image on an image forming sheet used for a high resolution printer by controlling the pressure-sensitive and heat- sensitive recording, namely pressurizing and heating, and providing microcapsules to be selectively colored. SOLUTION: A white color forming layer 106 used for forming an image is formed on the surface side of a capsule layer 22 of a sheet 20. Even when capsule wall films 24a, 25a and 26a of microcapsules 24, 25 and 26 are white, the capsule wall films 24a, 25a and 26a are coated and masked by the forming layer 106, and the image to be formed is not affected adversely. A surface coating layer 23 is formed on the surface side of the forming layer 106. The coloring of deep layer is carried out by forming an image on the forming layer 106. |
