PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily wash an air feed pipe without requiring a dedicated check valve by dividing the air feed pipe of an endoscope into a local operation section side air feed pipe and a tip side air feed pipe, and connecting the local operation section side air feed pipe and the tip side air feed pipe with a removable trap member from the outside of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The air feed pipe 58 of this endoscope 10 is divided into a local operation section side air feed pipe 58A and a tip side air feed pipe 58B. The local operation section side air feed pipe 58A and the tip side air feed pipe 58B are connected by a cap 102 which is a removable trap member from the outside of the endoscope 10. When the air feed pipe 58 is to be washed, the cap 102 is removed from a joint member to expose the upper end opening section 96A of a through hole 96 and the upper end opening section 100A of a through hole. A chemical is injected from the upper end opening sections 96A, 100A, and a brush is inserted to wash the air feed pipe 58.
