PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain the subject formulation having effectively controlled elution of agrochemical component to the outside of the formulation in a short time by coating a core material with a specific wax emulsion, an agrochemical component and water-repellent powder. SOLUTION: This formulation is obtained by coating (D) a core material (preferably various mineral granular substances such as quartz sand particle) with (A) an agrochemical component, (B) a wax emulsion having >=60 deg.C melting point and (C) water-repellent powder. Further preferably, after the coating, the coated core material is dried and water contained in an emulsion is removed. Following the drying, the formulation can be granulated by an ordinary granulation means. In the case of >=10 ppm, especially >=50 ppm of water solubility of the component A, an elution inhibitory effect can be extremely developed. The amounts of the components added in the formulation are preferably 0.1-80% of the component A, 1-70 wt.% of the component B and 0.5-60% of the component C.
