PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus for long length floor material which coats a stepped part of the floor material with a coloring agent of ink or the like accurately and uniformly and performs printing being uniform in external appearance and color tone. SOLUTION: In regard to an apparatus for printing and coating the surface of a long length floor material 7 by a coating roll 6, a coating apparatus 1 for the long length floor material wherein a spray coating device 4 for coating a stepped part 73 of the surface of the floor material, in a small width, is fitted to a side frame 51 of a carrying device 5, together with width regulating guides 3 for the floor material 7, in the preceding process of the coating roll 6.
