PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph an eye in the practically unconstrained state for measuring the expansion/shrinkage of a pupil and eyeball movement. SOLUTION: This eye image pickup device is provided with a fitting section 1, a support section 2 and a camera section 3. The fitting section 1 is fitted and fixed to part of the body of a testee, the camera section 3 is positioned along a cheek of the testee, and an eye of the testee is photographed from below in this positioned state. The eye can be photographed under the normal living activity condition without giving constraint to the visual field of the testee and without giving constraint to the movement of the testee.
