PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display allowing the frequency characteristic of an ultrasonic probe to be intuitively recognized. SOLUTION: A label 100 is provided at the portion of the probe connector of an ultrasonic probe. The label 100 has a first display 101 and a second display 102. A scanning method is shown by the shape of the first display 101, and the central frequency is shown by its color. The second display 102 indicates the frequency band usable by this ultrasonic probe, and the band is shown by gradations in particular. The band can be shown by a curve in place of gradations.
