PURPOSE: A seasoning of timber is provided to season timber, which is not to be swelled, shrink, cracked or transformed by atmospheric moisture and keeps fine-grained and has enough thickness to engrave and is large enough to use for furniture, within a short time and with low expenses. CONSTITUTION: A seasoning of timber comprises the steps of; natural-seasoning (22) which seasons unsawn timbers until timbers contains a 16¯19 percentages of moisture in shade; hot-pressuring (24) which locates natural-seasoned timbers between top and bottom board heated of 80 ¯ 250°C and applies the pressure of a 20¯60 kilogram force/centimeter<SP POS="POST">2</SP> for 5 ¯30 seconds; removing hot pressure (25) which makes the moisture of timber evaporate naturally by placing top and bottom board heated askew for 5¯30 seconds; repeat-drying (26) of the steps of hot-pressuring and hot pressure removing three times or more. |
