PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a double metal cyanide catalyst which enables economical production of polyether polyols by incorporating one or more double metal cyanide compds., one or more org. complex ligands, and one or more cyclodextrins. SOLUTION: This double metal cyanide catalyst is prepared by incorporating (a) one or more (preferably one) double cyanide compds., (b) one or more (preferably one) org. complex ligands, and (c) one or more (preferably one) cyclodextrins. Moreover, (d) water, preferably about 1 to 10 wt.% of water based on the total weight of the double metal cyanide catalyst to be produced and/or (e) one or more water-soluble metal salts, preferably by about 5 to 25 wt.% of one or more water-soluble metal salts based on the total weight of the double metal cyanide catalyst are incorporated into the catalyst. |
