PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a termite controlling agent and controlling method having high flexibility in the method and site of application, exhibiting excellent durability of the termite controlling effect and effective for actively attracting termite. SOLUTION: The objective termite controlling agent is composed of a lethal composition for termite combined with a cellulosic sheet containing one or more termite-attracting substances selected from water-extract of pine wood, pine resin, rosin and termite-attracting pheromone. The total or a part of the lethal composition is included in or brought into contact with the cellulosic sheet. The termite controlling agent is placed in the living area of termite or thereabout to effect the extermination of termite.
