PURPOSE: A close contact door lock is provided to simplify the procedure of opening a door without a key or a pre-set password by nearing a personal card embedded with a unique number to a close contact card reader installed on an external plate. By installing an assistant number input unit on the lower part of the external plate, the door can be opened even if the card is lost. Whether the door is locked or unlocked is noticed by the voice so that a user does not have to check the state of the door. CONSTITUTION: A close contact door lock includes followings. An internal locking lever(10) is installed to an internal plate(12). A rotating internal lever(14) is installed to the lower part of the internal plate(12). A close contact card reader(20) which reads information recorded in the card by radio frequency is installed to the upper part of the external plate(22). A rotating external lever(24) is installed to the lower part of the external plate(12). A user sensor(26) which senses the approach of the user and an external locking lever(27) geared with the internal locking lever(10) are installed between the close contact card reader(20) and the external lever(24).
