<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of imparting remarkable transparency and strong toughness and a soft and comfortable hand feeling and also imparting elastic properties and low solvent solubility, especially low solubility in a xylene to a film formed from the composition by imparting the characteristics due to a specific value of a heat of melting (ΔHm) to a polypropylene composition mainly composed of a highly isotactic polyolefin. SOLUTION: The composition is a polypropylene composition which possesses the characteristics due to a heat of melting (ΔHm) being not less than about 89 J/g. The polypropylene composition is a polymer composition which comprises at least about 70% of a highly crystalline polypropylene and about 0.01-30%, preferably about 5-30%, of a syndiotactic polypropylene. When the composition is cast into a film having a thickness of about 0.08 mm (0.003 inch), the film has the property of a) a secant modulus at 1% in a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction or both directions of not more than about 850 Mpa, or of b) a dart impact strength of not less than about 250 g, or c) the combined properties.</p> |
