OPERATING METHOD FOR ONE WORK UNIT OF TEXTILE MACHINERY WINDING CROSS WINDING PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a high winding quality of a winding package. SOLUTION: This method is used for operating one work unit of textile machinery winding a cross winding package, using a yarn tension sensor 54 that is connected with a work unit computer 32 and is used for monitoring yarn tension of a yarn running from a supply bobbin to a winding package and a strainer 36 for adjusting the yarn tension. The work unit computer 32 determines a crimp force APD of yarn braking devices 114, 116 acting to a thread 22 of the yarn strainer 36 according to the thread tension detected by the yarn tension sensor 54. This determined actual crimp value APDist is compared with a limit value APDmax specified for the crimp force, and a rewinding process is suspended when it reaches the limit value APDmax in a determined time interval t2-t1 or exceeds this limit value.
