PURPOSE: A node board of an internal communication network with an error detector is provided to diagnose errors by checking blocks where Interprocess Communication(IPC) data checked as a frame unit occurs errors, if errors are detected, when receiving/transmitting a High-level Data Link Control(HDLC) type of serial IPC data to units. CONSTITUTION: A node board of an internal communication network with an error detector comprises an unit transceiver, an error detector, a node bus converter, a unit memory, a bus memory, a data bus transceiver, a bus and path controller, and a central processor. The unit transceiver receives/transmits a High-level Data Link Control(HDLC) type of serial Interprocess Communication(IPC) data between intercommunication networks and subsystems. The error detector detects errors by checking the IPC data as a frame unit. The node bus converter converts the serial IPC data received from the error detector into parallel IPC data, and parallel IPC data inputted from a data bus into serial IPC data for transmitting the transceiver. The unit memory stores the serial IPC data converted in the node bus controller. The bus memory stores the parallel IPC data inputted from the data bus. The data bus transceiver receives/transmits data from/to the data bus. The bus and path controller controls a bus occupancy among nodes for the data bus and a path for frames. The central processor manages an operating and managing state of the intercommunication network according to error results notified from the error detector.
