PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a data symbol of a mobile wireless communication system, is provided to reduce an error rate in detection without decreasing a data transmission rate, by arranging a data symbol having big importance near to a pilot symbol, and a data symbol having small importance far from the pilot symbol, to transmit data. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting a data symbol of a mobile wireless communication system, comprises the steps of: dividing data to be transmitted according to importance; deciding whether the divided data is important; if not, arranging far from a pilot symbol, and if so, arranging near the pilot symbol, to form a data format; and transmitting the formed data format.
