PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-regenerated desalting module and an electrically-regenerated desalter by which the desalting is made highly efficient and the yield is improved with a simple system. SOLUTION: At least one set of cation-exchange membranes 16b are opposed to at least one set of anion-exchange membranes 16a, a passage A for water to be treated is formed in the gap between the cation-exchange membrane 16b and anion-exchange membrane 16a, and electrodes 12a and 12b are arranged outside the cation-exchange membrane 16b and anion-exchange membrane 16a to constitute the electrically-regenerated desalting module 10. Further, at least one cation-exchange 18b and/or at least one anion-exchange membrane 18a are arranged in the passage A in a manner of bridging a space between the membrane 16a and 16b and almost in parallel with the traveling direction of the water to be treated to constitute the module, and an electrically-regenerated desalter using the the module is provided.
