PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen the switching of fuel by connecting a gasification system including a gas holder to a combustor, and connecting a switching fuel supplying means so as to supply fuel from the switching. fuel supplying means, when the gasification system is stopped, while supplying the gasified gas within the gas holder to a gas turbine. SOLUTION: A fuel such as coal slurry and an oxidizer consisting of oxygen are supplied into the gasification furnace of a gasification system 10, and the fuel is reacted with steam with partial oxidization to generate a gasified gas. The gasified gas is supplied to the combustor 16 of a gas turbine 12 through a gas refining system 11, a gas holder 23 and the like to generate a high- pressure, high-temperature gas, which drives a generator 19 through a turbine 18. When the process from the gasification system 10 to the combustor 16 has any trouble, and the gasification system 10 is stopped, a liquid fuel such as kerosene in a switching fuel supplying means 26 is supplied while supplying the gasified gas within the gas holder 23 to the combustor 16, so that the switching of supplied fuel is performed.
