PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water feed structure for the ground surface layer capable of always maintaining the surface layer of the ground in an appropriate moistened state. SOLUTION: An artificial lawn 26 is laid on the lower layer ground 8 of the ground 1, and this is a water feed structure for feeding water to the surface layer 20 of the ground 1 spreading a fine particle member 28 such as sand on the base material 22 of the artificial lawn 26 to maintain in a moistened state. A sheet-like member such as nonwoven fabric 24 having rich water permeability is provided on the upper face of the base material 22 of the artificial lawn 26, a plurality of water feed means permeably feeding water to the sheet- like member on the proper places of the ground 1, and while diffusing water fed by the water feed means on the whole surface of the ground 1 through the sheet-like member, the fine particle member 28 such as sand is impregnated with water to moisten the ground surface layer 20.
