PURPOSE: A dance game apparatus is provided to achieve an improved effectiveness of exercise and increased interest while allowing a laser beam to be dissipated in response to an action of gamer's hand. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a main body installed onto the ground, a rhythm sound outputting unit(26) installed to the main body, a monitor(28) installed to the main body and a central processing unit and which displays a variety of information regarding to the dance game, a speaker(30) installed to the main body and which outputs a sound, and a hand action guide/game unit having a light emitting portion(32) installed to the main body of the apparatus and which emits a light, a light receiving portion(42) installed at the main body to be corresponded to the light emitting portion and which receives the light from the light emitting portion, the light receiving portion being connected to the central processing unit, the hand action guide/game unit serving to permit a gamer to cut off the light emitted from the light emitting portion so that the light is prevented from being received at the light receiving portion, thus performing a hand action game. |
