PURPOSE: An electrode of an electron gun is to improve a structure of a buried portion of an electrode, thereby facilely fixing the electrode to a bead glass. CONSTITUTION: An electrode(40) of an electron gun comprises a main body(41) having an electron beam passing hole through which an electron beam radiated from a cathode is passed, and a buried portion(43) which is formed at a place of the main body and fusion-welded to a bead glass. The buried portion is comprised of a buried main body(43a) which is extended along an edge of a lower portion of the main body, a protrusion(43b) which is protruded from the main body, and a bent portion(43c) which is form at an end of the protrusion and has a passing-through hole(43d). The bent portion which is integrally extended from the protrusion and formed to be fusion-welded to the bead glass in a length direction.
