PURPOSE: A method for transmitting an advertisement insertion type message by using an internet and telephone is provided so that advertisement effects can be maximized by making a receiver listen to an advertisement when receiving the message, and target advertisement effects can be also obtained by inserting a suitable advertisement according to the time, gender and age. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting an advertisement insertion type message by using an internet and telephone includes several steps. A member subscriber stores in a database sound, character and image messages to be transmitted through the internet(S330). The message to be transmitted is extracted from the database by detecting a date and time(S340). An advertisement is inserted into the front and rear portions of the message(S350). The message having the advertisement is transmitted by telephone(S360).
