POLYURETHANE HYBRID DISPERSION AND COATING MATERIAL HAVING INCREASED WET ADHESIVENESS AND SOLVENT RESISTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material compound produced by using polyurethane/acrylic hybrid dispersion capable of imparting excellent water resistance and solvent resistance to an alkyd support. SOLUTION: This polyurethane hybrid dispersion comprises (a) 10-95 wt.% carboxylated polyurethane dispersion having at least 0.6 mm equivalent carboxyl per g polyurethane and being a reaction product comprising (I) at least one kind of diisocyanate, (II) at least one kind of polyester diol and (III) at least one kind of carboxylated diol and (b) 5-90 wt.% functionalized polymer being an emulsion polymerization product comprising at least one kind of ethylenic unsaturated monomer and 0.1-5 ppm at least one kind of ureido functional comonomer.
