<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor and an electric shutter which dispense with wiring work which has been required in conventional motors and shutters, and are easy in mounting. SOLUTION: An electric shutter is operated by rotating a winding drum by an electric motor 24, and winding in and winding out a slat curtain 2 on the winding drum. The electric motor 24 is provided with a switch mechanism 40 which is comprised of a torque limiter and a switch means. The torque limiter transmits a driving force of the electric motor 24 via an output shaft to a load side, and terminates transmission of the driving force of the electric motor 24 when a load exceeds a set torque. The switch means terminates power supply to the electric motor 24 upon sensing of operation of the torque limiter.</p> |
