PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drainage from splashing to vehicle lateral directions while maintaining wet drainage performance. SOLUTION: This block pattern pneumatic tire has four main grooves 1, 2 and lateral width grooves 3, 4, 5 that respectively extend in the tread width direction across the tread defined by the main grooves 1, 2. A shoulder block row 8, and each of block rows 7, 6 adjacent sequentially to the inside thereof have lateral width grooves 5, 4, 3. The angles of the lateral width grooves 5, 4, 3 with respect to tread longitudinal direction are set to be 85 to 90, 75 to 85, and 80 or less degrees respectively. |
