PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drainage and asymmetric abrasion resistance qualities when driving on a wet road by forming an inclined groove whose one end is opened to a central circumferential groove while the other end opened to a side circumferential groove or tread end, and also by forming a narrowed portion with a narrowed width in a block. SOLUTION: This tire is formed with a plurality of blocks 4 with two central circumferential grooves 1 that extend generally in parallel in the central range of a tread in the circumferential direction, and with a number of inclined grooves 3 that extend aslope in the circumferential direction. One end of the inclined groove 3 is opened to the central circumferential groove 1 and the other end is opened to each of a pair of left and right side circumferential grooves 2. The inclined groove 3 bends in an S-shaped or adverse S-shaped manner. Furthermore, a narrowed portion 41 with a narrowed block width is formed generally in the center of the block 4. Thereby drainage and asymmetric abrasion resistance qualities when driving on a wet road are both excellent. |
