PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a strain due to a thermal expansion and a mold clamping force by projecting a log lateral leg contained in a tie bar interval at a lower side center of a stationary platen, and fastening it to a machine base so that both ends of the platen are free to the thermal expansion. SOLUTION: A long lateral leg 10 contained in an interval of tie bars 3 is projected from a lower surface center of a stationary platen 2. This is obtained by longitudinally integrally molding edge sides 11 for fastening parallel to the platen 2. A seat plates 12 each having a lateral width substantially equal to a leg length are laid on an upper surface central part of the base 1, legs 10 are placed thereon, and the platen 2 is stood on an upper surface of the base. Then, pin holes are opened at a lower surface of the leg and the plate center, a positioning pin 13 is engaged to bring the upper surface of the base 1 into coincidence with a central position of the platen 2, and front and rear edge sides 11 of the leg 10 are fastened to the plate 12 by bolts 14 parallel to the platen 2. Here, a restriction of the base 1 of the platen 2 is conducted only at a center, and both ends are free. |
