PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake disc for a rolling stock which can prevent generation of excessive thermal stress even if it is used for emergency during high speed running, and has no difference in level of sliding surface. SOLUTION: A disc 1 is of an integral type and provided with a parting part 8 formed in a portion in the circumferential direction, whereby thermal stress in the circumferential direction is released by the parting part 8, no difference in level is produced in the sliding surface so that even if it is used for emergency during high speed running, thermal stress produced by excessive heat generation in the sliding surface is released by the parting part 8 to prevent occurrence of cracks and deformation, and remarkably reduce wastage of a pad and generation of noise.
