PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insufficient lubrication for a hammering mechanism part by circulating grease when a cordless hammer drill main body is in the operating condition with the tip tool directed upward. SOLUTION: A wall 19 of a housing 1 is provided between a reciprocation bearing 9 and a first gear 4 on an intermediate shaft of a hammering mechanism part 20, a collar 6 is disposed between the reciprocation bearing 9 and the first gear 4 on the intermediate shaft, and a V-shaped end face seal 8 is provided in the outer periphery of the collar 6. Further, a stepped washer 7 with a blade is interposed between the V-shaped end face seal 8 in the outer peripheral of the collar 6 and the wall 19 of the housing 1.
