PURPOSE: A method for searching for an offer through the internet and apparatus therefor is provided so that a user can search for the details of trade offers provided at a plurality of sites on the internet without visiting these sites by driving a search engine of a server providing the plurality of sites to be searched for. CONSTITUTION: A method for searching for an offer through the internet includes the following steps. A search page provided with a plurality of sites associated with offers is transmitted to a user. A search requirement including at least one user-selected site to be searched for is received from the user. A searching corresponding to the search requirement is requested by connecting to the site to be searched for in step (a). The searching result corresponding to the search requirement is received from the site to be searched for in step (b). If the number of user-selected sites to be searched for is plural, steps (a) and (b) are repeatedly performed on the rest of the sites to be searched for. The received searching result is transmitted to the user.
