PURPOSE: A fiber fixing jig of dial type used for a coupler machine is provided to exactly and variously adjust a twisting angle of optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: When optical fiber of two strands is supplied to make a fiber coupler, a pair of vacuum jigs(1) each having vacuum lines(2) formed therein are prepared for both ends of the optical fiber. In addition, movable fixing jigs(3) are provided on the vacuum jigs(1) for the fixation of the optical fiber. Each vacuum jig(1) further has a dial fixing jig(4) to be engaged with a dial jig(5). The dial fixing jig(4) is centrally formed in an upward projection part extended from one end of each vacuum jig(1), and further, complementarily shaped to the dial jig(5). Moreover, the dial fixing jigs(4) of both vacuum jigs(1) are opposite to each other at both ends of the optical fiber. The dial jig(5) and the dial fixing jig(4) have corresponding ball spring grooves(6,9) for their connection. The dial jig(5) further has V-shaped grooves(8,10) for receiving the optical fiber, and a handle(7) for regulating a rotation of the dial jig(5). The V-shaped groove(8,10) has a width suitable for a thickness of one-strand fiber.
