PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive load driving circuit capable of achieving a low power consumption and restraining heat generation of a switching element by utilizing the capacitive load. SOLUTION: In driving a capacitive load C1, in the case the potential of the capacitive load C1 is lower than the potential of the contact point of capacitors C2, C3 at the time of charge, charge is executed from the capacitors C2 and C3 through a diode D1 and a transistor Q1. In the opposite case, charge is executed form the power source through transistors Q2, Q1. At the time of discharge, in the case the potential of the capacitor C1 is higher than the potential of the contact point of the capacitors C2, C3, electric discharge is executed at the capacitors C2, C3 through the transistor Q2 and the diode D2. In the opposite case, electric discharge is executed at the ground through transistors Q2, Q4.
