PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ink from leaking inside an electronic apparatus of an ink jet recording type even when the ink is discharged by a large amount through a flushing operation for maintenance of an ink jet head. SOLUTION: A facsimile apparatus of an ink jet recording type has a first ink-absorbing body 75 inside a maintenance unit 73 below a flushing position of an ink jet head. A second ink-absorbing body 77 of a larger projection area than the ink-absorbing body 75 in the maintenance unit 73 is disposed below the maintenance unit 73. The periphery of the second ink-absorbing body 77 is surrounded by a rib 81. In consequence of this, even if ink cannot be absorbed by the first ink-absorbing body 75 and leaks out of the maintenance unit 73, the second ink-absorbing body 77 can absorb the ink and prevents the ink from leaking into the apparatus. |
