PURPOSE: A device for processing multimedia traffics and for assigning equivalent bands in an Ethernet LAN, is provided to equally divide realtime services and LAN traffics based on Quality Of Service(QoS), and control traffics by distributing a transmitting volume to hosts in LAN. CONSTITUTION: In a device for processing multimedia traffics and for assigning equivalent bands in Ethernet LAN, a host requests signaling to a LAN gate for a Round-Robin(RR) mode service. A driver of an Ethernet device signals to the LAN gate using a frame format. A normal Ethernet frame receives/transmits data of the RR mode service. The LAN gate receives a connection setting release from the host and a frame type generated in the driver of the Ethernet service, broadcasting transition of the RR mode using frame types, generating a frame type at the last point of alpha, to notify start of a mode of Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Detection(CSMA/CD) to the host. The LAN gate notifies start and exit for a RR mode of transmitting admission to the host using frame types. Connected hosts receive a time interval under the RR mode, to execute operations. A transmission time interval for the host increases according to a requested transmission ratio, when the host is connected to RR mode services.
