PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated structure especially suitable for a recording medium of an optical disk such as a CD-ROM or a DVD-ROM by providing a silicon carbide coating layer excellent in oxidation resistance, chlorine resistance, humidity resistance or the like. SOLUTION: A laminated structure has a silicon carbide coating layer formed on a substrate formed from a synthetic resin or glass by sputtering and the light transmissivity of the silicon carbide coating layer is set to 80% or less. In this case, a mode wherein the light reflectivity of the silicon carbide coating layer is 10-50%, a mode wherein the synthetic resin comprises polycarbonate, a mode wherein a ratio of impurities present on the surface of the silicon carbide coating layer is 1.0×1012 atoms/cm2 or less, a mode wherein the thickness of the silicon carbide coating layer is 15-100 nm or the like are pref. |
