PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip having excellent noise insulation property. SOLUTION: A weather strip 52 comprises a hollow seal part 54 for sealing between the peripheral rim of an opening/closing member provided on a car body opening part and an opening rim of the car body opening part, and a main body part 8 formed with the hollow seal part 54 attached. A degassing hole 62 is formed in the hollow seal part 54 and a projection part 64 is provided on the outer wall surface of the hollow seal part 54 for gradually approaching the main body part 8 in response to elastic deformation of the hollow seal part 54 generated by the contact of the opening/closing member 4 so as to cover the degassing hole 62 opening. Accordingly, since the degassing hole 62 opening is covered by the projection part 64 when the opening/closing member 4 is contacted with the hollow seal part 54, the sound insulation property of the weather strip 52 is improved.
