PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pull-up performance of dust by a screen. SOLUTION: A cylindrical screen 12 is rotatably arranged in a waterway 1, and by letting flow water on the lower stream side bough the circumferential face of the screen 12 while introducing water flow into the screen 12, dust is caught by the screen 12 and the dust caught by rotationally driving the screen 12 is pulled up to the water surface and removed. In the screen 12, the inner circumferential face is provided with shelves 32 in the circumferential direction at fixed intervals. The respective shelves 32 are constituted so that a plurality of metallic plates 34 (projections) are standingly provided in one row at fixed intervals in the lengthwise direction of the center axis of the screen 12 into comb-shaped arrangement.
