摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nozzle contributing to the improvement of quality in a cast slab even under condition of being high speed of continuous casting by arranging a twist tape-state swirling vane in the nozzle and further, forming as a shape contracting the inner diameter of the nozzle at the lower part of the swirling vane. SOLUTION: The twist tape state swirling vane 1 for forming molten steel in the immersion nozzle into the swirl flow is provided in the immersion nozzle and has the shape contracting the inner diameter of the nozzle at the lower part of the swirling vane 1. A contracting method of the inner diameter of the nozzle is not particularly limited and can be contracted as the straight line state, such as straight line contraction or can be contracted as the curve line state. A method for contracting the inner diameter by arranging the difference in the level can be applied and a method for remaining these contracting methods can be applied and a method for widening the same inner diameter near the spouting hole as the inner diameter of the fitting part of the swirling vane can be applied. In this way, the molten steel formed as the swirl flow with the swirling vane is made flow down the portion of the contracted shape of the inner diameter at the lower part the swirling vane and thus, the swirl state is further uniformly stabilized and kept to the spouting hole without attenuating the swirl state and the molten steel is spouted in a mold.
