PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively purify polluted soil even under low temperature conditions such as in the winter by laying an air passing pipe in soil and providing the air passing pipe with an air blowing device for blowing air into the air passing pipe and a heat generating device for raising the temperature of the air fed into the air passing pipe. SOLUTION: Soil to be purified is, for example, polluted soil 4 having pollutant such as petroleum, and this soil purifying device is applied to that containing microorganisms for decomposing the pollutant, and it raises the temperature of the polluted soil 4 or feeds oxygen to better environment in which microorganisms are increased, thereby decomposing the pollutant by the microorganisms to purify the polluted soil 4, and it is provided with an air passing pipe 1 laid in the polluted soil 4, an air blowing device 2 for blowing air into the air passing pipe 1, and a heat generating device 3 for heating the air fed into the air passing pipe 1. For the air passing pipe 1, a pipe from which air can be transferred into the soil is sufficient and it has plural holed 11 in the surface thereof. As the heat generating device 3, for example, that in which heat is electrically generated by a Nichrome wire 31 or the like or heat is indirectly generated for obtaining a warm wind is preferable.
