PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and selectively separating, removing and recovering a lead ion from lead ion-containing aq.soln. by using an adsorbent capable of easily and inexpensively being prepared. SOLUTION: The separation method of the lead ion from water using an adsorption gel produced by subjecting the orange squeezed juice residue to saponificating and crosslinking treatment is provided.
