PURPOSE: A method for non-hardening substitutive clay is provided to manufacture clay not to become hard to easily use for an artwork teaching material or a mold of a craftwork or a product by keeping the substitutive clay soft in paste state for a semi-permanent period. CONSTITUTION: APP resin is mixed with an oil-based solvent like mineral oil, fair average quality oil or vegetable oil in a ratio of 50 to 50 in a container and heated up to melt to a sol state, and then cooled down at room temperature. The cooled material is blended with substitutive clay materials like calcium carbonate or wheat flour in a ratio of 1:1, 1: 1.6 or 1:1.8 and half-cooked, then matched a color. The substitutive clay material is neutralized the smell of APP resin with a food flavor.
