ORGANIC PEROXIDE MASTER BATCH AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: An organic peroxide master batch and preparation thereof are provided to improve dispersability of the organic peroxide and to prevent coagulation on pipe lines so that uniform products can be produced. CONSTITUTION: An organic peroxide master batch according to the present invention comprises 5 to 50 wt% of organic peroxide and 50 to 95 wt% of porous polyolefin powder wherein the organic peroxide is supported in the pores of the porous polyolefin. The organic peroxide master batch according to the present invention is prepared by the method comprising: a) dissolving the organic into an organic solvent; d) stirring and mixing the organic peroxide solution along with porous polyolefin powder and the drying them to volatilize the solvent and to obtain the porous polyolefin in which the organic peroxide is supported in the pores.
