PURPOSE: A brake apparatus of power transmission unit for rotary force generating apparatus of laundry machine is provided to achieve reduced cost and size by eliminating one-way clutch bearing. CONSTITUTION: A brake apparatus of power transmission unit for rotation force generating apparatus of laundry machine in which a drawing element(15ab) arranged at an end of a wire(15aa) which can be drawn by a drainage motor(15a) draws a connection portion(14br1) arranged at an end of a brake lever(14br3) or releases such a drawing operation so as to control rotation of a drum, the brake apparatus comprises a brake lever supporting element(14br7) arranged at a predetermined portion of a side surface of the brake lever(14br3). The brake lever supporting element(14br7) rotates along with the brake lever and returns to a predetermined position upon completion of drying operation so as to control the rotation of the brake lever.
